A guide to Free Internet Marketing and Professional Marketing Advice

Does the Internet benefit people search results?

If this is the search for a product or service you may need to get a lot of company Web sites offer them, but I’m sure that the search engines picked appropriate for you? Search engines use complex algorithms and expected only mystery, but after careful analysis, you’ll see that the companies come up in the search results are largely the ones that pay a hefty premium for the request, and not necessarily that are most beneficial to the consumer or the search .

In order to ensure we understand what is the best, I’ll take a few criteria, I think people are looking for a service or product for you.

Price

Quality

Customer service

Neighborhood Location

Its popularity and history

Most people who are looking for a product or service will be like if all companies are created even at the best prices, quality work and customer service. In addition, certain products and services in the immediate vicinity of the service is important, and some is irrelevant. Do you need a plumber in your area take care of the plumbing problems at home, but do not care if you buy the item shipped. It can be purchased and delivered anywhere, if what you want and the price is good.

The popularity of the site and the previous history of customer satisfaction is important and makes you feel that you are dealing with a reputable company and trust can be established faster.

But here’s the dilemma. Search engines can check and compare the prices of all the sites and come up with the lowest price for you? Mostly it is impossible now. In contrast to eBay, to sort the results at the lowest price, search engines do not have the luxury of a specified form and fixed prices on eBay. Ebay is a database the area, which includes the price or highest bid or the fixed price at that time, but the website offers products and services on the Internet do not follow the prescribed form and the search engines will not investigate and compare them, and they all show the lowest prices. The same applies to quality and customer service. The engines can not compare apples to apples and determine the quality, or customer service provided by the company.

The only criterion is to continue the popularity of the site and its history. Popularity is certainly one of the criteria that search engines put a lot of stress. They have a lot of ways to check the popularity of a site, but some of the ways they use gets screwed themselves. If you are looking for, lets say, a Sony MP3 player, you get 18.6 million results. The problem is that we now have to click on each site to offer this product, and determine the least cost, quality and customer service. Found not to go to page 173, and then click on the companies, the companies that you click on the first, second or even third page. If you click on such search engines record the clicks, then it is found that these companies should also be indicated in the first few pages. What I’m talking about the convolution. One company that appears in 173 side by offering a brand new, in-the-box product that is cheaper than everyone else, but I never see them, and it did not click on the images, the page state has not increased in the future.

The fact that good for the consumer and the search engines? No its not, and until we get technologically, we, the people must be diligent and find the right fit for our company criteria. Take for example, two companies that offer online printing. Vistaprint.com and WYMPrint.com. I compared the prices of ten different print collaterals; WYMPRINT was first 3-34% lower than the price. The customer service is excellent and the quality of the material and the print is much better than the material abroad. But the company is able to compete in the multi-million dollar advertising budget of a large company? When we look for postcards or business cards, you get a chance to companies to give more value to us than the WYMPrint.com?

The only way to get around this shortcoming of search engines to tell everyone of the sites, and find companies and content, and write about them anywhere you can. There are many companies out there that sell products and services, but they still treat their customers as a local store and not like a robot multi-million dollar companies, who all profit margins.

Remember that small businesses play a central role in the U.S. economy and small businesses on the Internet is the same as in a small town. It is the economy and deserves a chance.
